Eric Dyson, a Los Angeles–born filmmaker, has been immersed in film and television his entire life. A graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography with a degree in Film, he also explored the world of musical theater before beginning his career with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, where he gained early exposure to one of Hollywood’s most influential storytellers.

 

Following Amblin, Eric joined the International Cinematographer’s Guild, Local 600, and built a career as a Camera Operator and Assistant Camera Operator, amassing over 45,000 hours of on-set experience. Recent credits include A Man On The Inside, Mr. Throwback, Hunters, Snowfall and My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

 

With years of visual storytelling behind the camera, Eric has developed a sharp eye for crafting powerful imagery and a deep understanding of the collaboration required to bring complex productions to life, experience that now fuels his work as a filmmaker.
